Georgia Tech’s Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (IRIM) serves as an umbrella under which robotics researchers, educators, and students from across campus can come together to advance the many high-powered and diverse robotics activities at Georgia Tech.
IRIM’s Visiting Faculty Fellows program supports extended visits (one to six months) to the Georgia Tech Atlanta campus by faculty at other institutions or industry/government laboratories who are engaged in research activities focusing on robotics. IRIM will provide Visiting Fellows with partial salary support, along with support for travel and living expenses. Visiting Fellows are encouraged to interact with IRIM faculty and students and will have the opportunity to give a two or three day “mini-tutorial” on their current research during their stay at Georgia Tech.
- A one page proposal including the visitor’s name, proposed duration of visit, GT faculty or departments with whom the visitor would be most closely associated, and a brief description of expected activities
